Yellowstone National Park established in 1872, in America. The largest number of bison in the world can be seen in Yellowstone Park.
The bison here produce nitrogen fertilizer by eating grass, insects, microorganisms or plants from the environment and excreting them back to the land through biological processes.
Bison poops are commonly used as fertilizer. Because their feces contain excess amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, essential nutrients.
Another example of this is that the insects here use the bison’s feces as a source of food for microorganisms or bacteria.
Many recent studies have shown that the fertility and density of the soil are higher in places where the presence of bison is more noticeable than in other places.
This belief of the indigenous people here has been in their minds for a long time, and their relationship with bison has been unbroken.
